Jewellery designer Ruth Sherry, B.A (Hons) F.I.P.G. gives advice about buying an eternity ring. Offering a few ideas, to help decide the right route for you. "I think a diamond eternity ring is one of the essentials in a jewellery collection. We often design them to match a wedding and engagement ring, but they also look good worn separately as a statement piece.

There are two main types of eternity ring. A full eternity ring has stones set entirely around the band, which is the classic look. Or, a half eternity ring, which is just stone-set in the front. Whilst this may be less extravagant than a full eternity ring, it does allow it to be sized more easily in the future.
